We have summarized the most frequently asked questions for you:


  • Booking: How can I book at the best price?

The fastest and most affordable way to book is directly through our website! Of course, you can also reach us by phone or email. There are no additional booking fees for you when booking directly with us. If your desired dates aren't exactly available, but are only almost available, send an email to reservation@hostel-singen.de; perhaps we can find an alternative at our partner hotel.


Please understand that we always secure guaranteed bookings with your valid credit card details (Visa, Amex or Mastercard).


Please also note that you must be at least 18 years old to make a booking. Minors may only stay overnight if accompanied by an adult and with written permission from a parent or guardian (including a copy of their ID). This is not necessary for student groups accompanied by an authorized teacher, for example.


  • Group booking: I would like to travel with a group of more than 7 people. How can I book?

For bookings for more than 7 people, you'll usually receive special rates and different cancellation conditions. Please use this inquiry form.


  • Where can I park?

We offer 24 free parking spaces and one bus parking space. Please note that we cannot accept reservations here.


  • When can I check in?

Your room will be available from 2:00 PM. Of course, you can leave your luggage with us if you would like to arrive earlier. Since our reception is open 24 hours a day, you can arrive anytime from 2:00 PM. However, we require an arrival guarantee from you in the form of a credit card number or advance payment.


  • Breakfast:

There is a delicious breakfast buffet with crispy rolls, spreads, sausage and cheese, muesli, fresh fruit, juice and the finest coffee specialties during the week from 6:00 to 10:00 a.m. and on weekends from 7:00 to 11:00 a.m.


  • By what time do I have to check out?

The room should be vacated by 11:00 a.m. Of course, you are welcome to leave your luggage with us again.


  • Can I cancel or change my booking free of charge?

Unless otherwise stated in the confirmation, rooms can be canceled free of charge until 4 p.m. on the day of arrival. If the cancellation occurs after 4 p.m., or if you simply decide not to arrive at all, we reserve the right to charge 90% of the booked price. This applies regardless of whether we can resell the room or not. If you booked through a tour operator or another booking portal, cancellation can only be made through that portal.


  • Can I use the Internet?

Wi-Fi is free of charge in all rooms and public areas.


  • Can I wash and dry my laundry?

We have a laundry room where you can wash, dry, and iron your laundry. You can get tokens for the machines at our reception. We assume no liability for lost laundry or any damage.


  • Do I need to bring towels and bed linen?

All beds are made up and towels are provided. Linen is changed every three days.


  • Is there a hairdryer in all rooms?

No, but you can borrow one at the reception (subject to availability)


  • Is there a kitchen in the hostel where I can cook something?

Unfortunately, there isn't a guest kitchen, but you can always use the microwave and kettle. There's a REWE supermarket nearby with a selection of microwave-safe dishes. Or you can simply book a room with a kitchenette. You can get hot and cold drinks at our bar. Of course, we're happy to give you tips on good restaurants.


  • We're a group and would like to have lunch or dinner at the hostel. Is that possible?

Of course it's possible. Ask about our menu and buffet suggestions; we'll organize it for you.


  • How can I pay?

We accept cash, EC/Maestro, MasterCard, VISA and American Express


  • Can I bring my pet?

Dogs and cats are welcome for a special cleaning fee of €10.00 per day. You are responsible for any damage or excessive soiling.
